Fenerbahce will play host to Union Saint-Gilloise in the second leg of the Round of 16 in the Europa Conference League on Thursday evening. The hosts currently lead the tie 3-0, thanks to goals by Michy Batshuayi, Jayden Oosterwolde and Dusan Tadic last week in Belgium. However, the match as a whole was much closer than the scoreline suggested, with only five shots on target recorded between both sides. What got Fener through was their clinical finishing, as they recorded a 100% conversion rate from their three shots on target. Following that result, The Yellow Canaries thrashed Pendikspor 4-1 at home over the weekend to remain just two points behind current league leaders Galatasaray. The hosts are now on a three-match winning streak in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last 11 games at home. Unsurprisingly, they are the clear favourites in this one. 

Meanwhile, Union Saint-Gilloise have a mountain to climb here, but their performance in the first leg makes it difficult to write them off completely just yet. However, their hopes of keeping this tie alive will depend heavily on their ability to find an early goal against their opponents. In preparation for this match,  Alexander Blessin rested several of his first-team players over the weekend against Gent, which saw them only manage a 1-1 draw. However, they had the luxury of being able to do so, owing to their six-point lead at the top of the First Division A table. On the road, Les Unionistes are on a three-match winning run in all competitions, though they did fail to win any of their Europa League away matches before beating Eintracht Frankfurt in the playoffs in this competition.
