Fenerbahce Istanbul vs MKE Ankaragucu Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Fenerbahce will resume their title pursuit this week when they host Ankaragucu in a Super Lig clash on Saturday evening. The hosts are in second place in the Super Lig standings, six points behind the league leaders Galatasaray and just two points above Besiktas in third place. Fenerbahce won their last league match 2-1 against Faith Karagumruk to register their fourth win in their last six matches, along with a draw and a loss. The hosts have been good on their home patch this season, recording nine wins, one draw, and three losses in 13 matches at Ulker Stadyumu Fenerbahce, though two of those losses did come in their last four home matches, dropping valuable points against Galatasaray and Besiktas. Fenerbahce won the reverse fixture 3-0, and with just 10 matches left in the season, the hosts will know that there is no room for error and will be expecting nothing less than three points from this one. 

Ankaragucu, meanwhile, will be peering nervously over their shoulders with the relegation scrap still far from over. The visitors currently sit in 14th place in the league standings, with 28 points after 26 matches, just four points above Giresunspor, who are the first side in the drop zone. Ankaragucu earned a valuable 3-2 win in their last match against another relegation candidate, Istanbulspor, which was just their second win in their last six matches, while the other four all resulted in defeat. The visitors have struggled in away matches this term with a record of three wins, two draws, and eight losses in 13 matches on the road, and come into this one on a three-match away losing run dating back to January. Ankaragucu have failed to beat this opponent in their last three attempts, outscored 8-2 in that period, and with plenty on the line for Fenerbahce, the visitors may struggle to take anything from this one.
