Rangers made it all the way through the Europa League qualifying rounds last year. They bid to do that again this season and reach the group stages. They have made smooth progress through the first two qualifying rounds beating St Joseph's and Progres Neiderkorn. They have scored 12 goals in their four qualifiers and are yet to concede a goal. Their good form continued at the weekend with a 2-1 away win at Kilmarnock in their first match in the Scottish Premiership. Away form in the Europa League has seen them lose only two of their last nine, both defeats being in the group stages of this competition last season.

FC Midtjylland have also made a good start in the Danish Superliga. They have won their first four league games and are second in the table behind Copenhagen on goal difference. Only one of their last six home Europa League games have been lost. That was last season when losing to Scandinavian rivals Malmo FF. Rangers will be tough opponents and a double chance bet on the Scottish club to win or draw this game is the tip.
