Lugano's push for an improved title challenge will see them host last season's relegation battlers, Grasshopper Zurich, as the Swiss Super League kicks off this weekend. This match will be played at the Cornaredo Stadium on Saturday, with a prediction of a likely home win.
This is the first match of the season, and both teams have contrasting objectives and forms going into this match. Lugano have an upcoming Champions League second qualifying round match against Fenerbahce to start planning for. The hosts finished second last season in the league, a whopping 12 points behind the winners, the Young Boys, and only one point ahead of Servette.
