Dundee have been in relegation danger for a fair while but two straight league wins have pulled them clear of the bottom two. Two 1-0 wins over Hamilton and Ross County have taken them to safety and they have won three of their last four fixtures. They are also unbeaten in their last three home league games and are now nine points above the relegation zone. There's the danger they may take their foot off the pedal now they are safe but after a tough season they will be keen to end it with a win in front of their fans.

Their opponents are in real danger still and start the weekend one from bottom in the table. That would lead to a play-off with either Livingston or Dundee United in order for them to survive in the Premiership. They are three points from safety but with a considerably worse goal difference than Hamilton so a bottom two spot looks assured. The big worry is that they are only two points clear of bottom side Ross County. If they were to fail to win this game and Ross County win at St Johnstone then they will be automatically relegated. Partick have only won one of their last 13 league games and away form has seen them win just one all season in the Premiership earning just eight points from 18 games and lost two of their three league games against Dundee. It's not looking good for Partick at all and Dundee can get the win, the only good news for Thistle may be that Ross County have only won two of their last 25 games so finishing bottom should be avoided.
