Dundee are in danger of being relegated from the Scottish Premiership and will be desperate to get three points from their home game against sixth placed Hearts. They start the weekend in tenth three points ahead of 11th placed Partick who occupy the relegation play-off spot and five clear of bottom of the table Ross County. Current form for Dundee is a major worry with three straight league defeats and they failed to score in any of them. Their last league win was at Partick Thistle on February 17 and it's that result keeping them out of 11th place. They had lost their previous three league and cup games before that win including a 4-1 home defeat by Ross County. Dundee have only won four out of 15 home league games and scored just 14 so they face a major battle to stay out of the bottom two but with Partick away to fourth placed Hibs and Ross County at soon to be champions Celtic, anything out of this game will help their cause.

Hearts are sixth in the table and don't have that much to play for with no chance of qualifying even for the Europa League. Their form is also disappointing with one win in seven league games until the recent 3-0 home win over 11th placed Partick Thistle. Away league form has seen them win just one of their last eight and they have gone four without a win. They have only scored 14 away league goals this season but have a fairly tight defence with 29 goals conceded in 31 league games and only leaders Celtic have scored less. Go for under 2.5 goals to be scored in this game.
