Two sides on completely different ends in the MLS face off as the league enters the 11th round. Dallas, bottom on seven points in the Western Conference take on New England Revolution, who are top of the Eastern Conference with 23 points. Dallas have no win in their last six matches, and in their nine this season in the MLS, they’ve managed just one win and one clean sheet. In their last five matches, they’ve failed to score in three, and have conceded two or more in three of their last four matches. They’ve trailed at half time in each of their last three matches, and have not gone to the break leading in any of the last five. Dallas have no loss at home in the five league matches played so far, but have won only once, with four matches ending in draws. They however have no clean sheet in the last four home matches.

New England Revolution have suffered just one loss in their 10 matches so far and only two sides have scored more than them across the two conferences. They’ve scored 17 goals, massively benefitting from the creativity of their Spanish midfielder Carles Gil. The former Aston Villa man has racked up 10 assists in 10 matches, and has one goal to his name. They just need to tighten up defensively, having conceded 11 in 10 matches, but facing a side with a low scoring attack shouldn’t worry them for now. They are currently on five straight wins and in three of them, they’ve scored three goals. Their most recent ended in a 3-2 win over New York RB. Their only loss of the season was against Nashville, and that came away from home. In their last two away matches, New England beat New York City and Cincinnati.
