FC Dallas will on Sunday play host to Los Angeles FC in their next Major League Soccer match. LAFC come into the weekend’s clash sitting second in the Western Conference while Dallas are seventh. Dallas comes to this match in woeful form. They have managed only one win in their last seven matches, losing four times including in their last two outings. Nico Estevez’ charges will hope returning back home after two away trips sees them halt this slump. Five of Dallas’ seven league victories have come at home including their last league win which was a 2-0 victory over St. Louis. The Hoops have found it hard against LAFC over the years. However, their two wins against them since 2018 have come when they have been the hosts. Dallas have amassed 26 points

Los Angeles FC are a further six points above Dallas in the West. They sit tied with Conference leaders St Louis on 32 points, separated by goal difference. Goal difference is also what is keeping them from the Champions Cup qualifying places. Steven Cherundolo’s men arrive for this match off the back of a defeat. They were on the receiving end of a five-goal thriller at home against Vancouver Whitecaps. This ended a two-game winning run and they will be keen not to go back to the slump at the start of June. LAFC lost their final match in May which began a six-match run without a win with five of those games ending in defeat. The Falcons have won four of the last five encounters with Dallas including the reverse fixture in March.
