FC Copenhagen vs Celtic Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

One of the more impressive teams to make it through the Europa League group stage, Celtic topped a group featuring Lazio. That's the same Lazio that are second in Serie A. Celtic beat them home and away. A trip to Denmark won't be too daunting. Copenhagen are the Bhoys' opponents in the round of 32 and the Parken Stadium is the venue for their first meetings. As one might expect from the reigning champions of the Danish Superliga, Copenhagen's record is quite good. They have only lost two of the 17 matches played there this season, one of those being decided by penalties. However, they rarely blitz opponents on their own patch. Their 3-1 home win over Riga last August is the only one of their last ten European matches at Parken in which they have scored more than one goal. The other nine have yielded just five in total for the home side, a record that won't have Celtic quaking. 

Fans of the SPFL will be overjoyed that eight successive titles haven't diminished Celtic's hunger to add further silverware to their trophy cabinet. Ten points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League, further glory beckons. Celtic fans would probably trade a ninth title for European gold though. They haven't won a European trophy since the '70s and last reached a final in 2003. (Losing to a Porto side coached by a certain Jose Mourinho.) Taking things by the old 'one game at a time' adage, they will first have to end a run of three successive exits at this stage of the competition. In all three competitions, they failed to score in the away leg. Given that Celtic have only failed to score twice in 45 games this season, we think they might end that hoodoo.
