After a slow start last season, Bayern Munich fought back to win another Bundesliga title. They didn't do so well in the Champions League though losing in the last sixteen to eventual winners Liverpool. They take on Tottenham, Red Star Belgrade and Olympiacos in this group and should make it through to the knock-out stages. This season has seen them unbeaten in the Bundesliga with eight points from four games. The home loss to Liverpool is their only home loss since October 2018 and only three of their last 27 home games in the Champions League have been lost.

Red Star Belgrade found themselves in a Champions League group with Liverpool, Napoli and PSG last season. This one isn't quite so tough but it looks as if the best they can hope for is a switch to the Europa League. They are third in the Serb league this season but would be top if winning their games in hand. Away form is poor in the Champions League. Over 90 minutes they have no wins in their last eight away Champions League games. Last season saw them concede 13 away goals in the group stage. Go for a home win with Bayern ahead at both half and full time.
