Bayern Munich vs Fenerbahce Istanbul Prediction & Betting Tips - Audi Cup

This is the sixth staging of the Audi Cup and Bayern Munich have won three of the previous five that have been held. The bi-annual competition saw Aletico Madrid win last time in 2017 and Bayern Munich last won in 2015. The Germans, who are the hosts of this four-team knock-out competion have won the title three times. Ths year they begin with a semi-final against Fenerbahce from Turkey. Bayern have already taken part in the International Champions Cup winning two and losing one of their three games. The loss came in their first match as they were beaten 2-1 by Arsenal with Eddie Nketiah getting the winner for the Gunners two minutes from time. Bayern won their remaining two matches, beating Real Madrid 3-1 and AC Mian 1-0. Six points left them a point behind Arsenal so no trophy in that tournament.  They will be hot favourites to win the Audi Cup considering they are hosts. Bayern have won 14 of their last 15 home games, the other match being their Champions League defeat by Liverpool.

Fenerbahce finished sixth in the Turkish Superliga last season. It was a season of two halves with only three of their first 19 league games being won. They picked up in the second half of the season only losing one of their last nine league fixtures. Sixth place sounds ok but it was only nine points above the relegation zone. Fenerbahce have made several signings during the summer but haven't done too well in their pre-season games. They won their first two but then drew with Wolfsburg and lost 2-1 to Hertha Berlin. Another loss to a far superior German side looks likely here. The tip is for Bayern to win and be ahead at both half and full time.
