Lugano will be back in domestic action as they travel to Basel for their next game in the Super League. Hosts Basel had a losing start to their league campaign and will be looking to bounce back. Here we take a look at the stats and numbers for this game before offering a prediction.

Basel started their season shakily, with a 3-2 away loss at Lausanne-Sport. Thiemo Barry’s brace in the game wouldn’t count for much as Basel’s struggles in the league continued. While that was just their first loss in seven league matches, Basel have only two wins in that run.

They head into another tricky encounter, facing a Lugano side that has dominated them recently. The last four times they hosted Lugano, Basel ended without a single win. However, a six-game unbeaten run in the league at home should lift their spirits.
