FC Augsburg vs Liverpool Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Jurgen Klopp makes a return to Germany this week as his Liverpool side take on Augsburg in the first leg of the last 32 of the Europa League. Just like Manchester United, winning this competition is Liverpool's only hope of getting into the Champions League next season. They have had an impressive campaign so far with an unbeaten campaign in the group stages though they did draw four of their six games but won the two after Klopp's arrival. They are on a strange run at present, especially if you look at their last four away games Two have produced just one goal and the other two saw them put 11 past Norwich and Aston Villa. They will be cheered by the 6-0 win at Aston Villa on Sunday and the return of Daniel Sturridge. Augsburg came second behind Athletic Bilbao in their group finishing ahead of Partizan and AZ. They won three and lost three of their games and lost two of their home games conceding six goals in those two games. On Sunday they lost 3-1 at home to Bayern Munich and are 14th in the table, just a point above the relegation zone with just two points from their last four league games and only two wins at home in the Bundesliga losing six times. It'll be interesting to see what kind of team Klopp puts out, hopefully Sturridge will get more time and they don't play again until the 28th so can afford to put out a strong side.
