Albania will look to maintain their strong start to the 2024 Euro Qualifiers when they travel to face the Faroe Islands on Tuesday. The two nations are competing in Group E where Albania are third and Faroe Islands fifth. Faroe Islands have played two matches so far in the group and are yet to win. After starting the qualifiers with a 1-1 draw with Moldova, Hakan Ericson’s charges were unable to build on that in their next match. They lost 3-0 to group leaders the Czech Republic on Saturday and have now gone five matches without a win. Despite this, Faroe Islands have won two of their last three home matches. This should have them confident heading into this match.

Albania come to this tie after a 2-0 win over Moldova that took them off the foot of the table and into third. They are tied on three points with second-placed Poland whom they lost to on matchday one. Albania have found it hard to win matches in the lead-up to this fixture but they have fared better than their hosts. They have won two of their last three games but before that had gone 10 straight matches without a win. They will hope to make it back-to-back wins on Tuesday for the first time since September 2021. This is the first competitive match between these two nations.
