Everton have had mixed results lately; their early season shimmer is gone and they are dealing with injuries to key players. They will be hosting West Ham United in Round 8 of the league, with both sides eyeing returns to winning ways. However, they should welcome back Alex Iwobi and Seamus Coleman while Lucas Digne’s injury isn’t as bad as earlier feared and he may also be available to fortify the defence. Andros Townsend has really stepped up in attack, and goes to this game having scored three times in the last four matches, including the equalizer against Manchester United. Their fine start to the season has died down and Moyes will feel this is a perfect venue to reignite things after winning just one of their last five league matches. He will also need to work on the defence, having conceded twice three times in the last five league games. Vladimir Coufal is the biggest doubt for West Ham but he may just get late approval to feature in this game.
