Everton vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Nella Wagah | in Premier League Predictions
Everton have a second straight home game, after their 1-0 loss to West Ham United, and this time they will be hosting Watford. The hosts are eighth in the standings with 14 points, while Watford are 16th on seven. Everton’s last five matches have served them just one win, and one clean sheet. They’ve failed to score in two of their last five games and will be hoping their home form plays out. In the four home league matches they’ve had this season, Everton have three wins and they’ve scored two or more in three of the four. They’ve failed to score in just two of their last 12 league games at home, but in this game they will be without a few key men. Main strikers Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are out injured while Abdoulaye Doucoure joins them after picking an injury in the loss to West Ham.
Watford go to this game having lost their last two matches and with a winless run of four games. They’ve scored just seven times in the league this season and none of these have been in the last two matches. Both teams have scored in three of their last five matches and they have three straight losses against Everton. Under new manager Claudio Ranieri, Watford started off with a 5-0 thrashing by Liverpool but this will look like a winnable game. They have one clean sheet only in their last 10 matches, and that was in the League Cup as they beat Crystal Palace 1-0. Away from home, Watford have three losses in the four matches they’ve played this season.

Our Everton vs Watford Prediction
Everton are coming from a loss, just like Watford but the hosts have had a better run in their recent matches and especially at home. The loss to West Ham was Everton’s first defeat at home this season. The Toffees have also been dominant in recent matches against Watford and we will back them to win here.
