Everton vs Manchester City Prediction & Betting Tips - Carabao Cup

It's a while since Everton have won a trophy and they have had their eyes set on the Capital One Cup all season. The club have been fielding strong sides throughout their run to this semi-final. Now they take on Manchester City who Everton have gone five games without a win against. That includes a 2-0 home defeat in the Premier League earlier this season. They'll be desperate to take any kind of lead to the Etihad for the second leg and that means two things. Firstly Romelu Lukaku has to be on top form and secondly they have to stop giving away leads. They did that again on Sunday when they drew 1-1 at home to Spurs just as they did in their previous home game against Stoke. Manchester City started the season in great form away from home but then it all went wrong and they have really struggled for goals in recent months. On Saturday though they scored two late goals to grab a vital 2-1 away win at Watford and that should give them some confidence going into this game. I think this should be a cracker of a game and with Everton conceding plenty of goals at present and City finally hitting some form away from home I think a bet on both teams to score is the best chance of  a profit here.
