Two struggling sides will look for a lift when Everton host Luton Town this weekend. This Premier League match to be played on Saturday at the Goodison Park will see the hosts 15th with four points and the visitors starting in 18th spot with just a single point. Everton have won and drawn one game each, while losing four matches in the league campaign so far. Yet, there is a sense of expectation in the camp as they are coming off a 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. That followed their 3-1 away win over Brentford last weekend in the Premier League. In fact, the Toffees have earned all four points this season from their last three matches after starting with three defeats. The only worry though, is the fact that they have lost all three matches at this venue this season.

Luton may not be the right team to exploit that, as the visitors are languishing in the relegation zone ahead of this round. A historic first-ever point in the Premier League was achieved last weekend when they held Wolves to a 1-1 draw. Yet, the Hatters couldn’t continue the momentum and lost 1-0 to Exeter in the midweek, crashing out of the Carabao Cup. Inability to rise up to the level of Premier League has been a big issue with four losses prior to that lone draw. In fact, three of those defeats have come on the road for Luton, underlining their struggling status. They failed to score in two of those, while even the Carabao Cup loss came on the road, only extending concerns over their travelling form.
