A 3-2 home loss to Brentford on Sunday has left Everton still in relegation trouble. They are 16th and host Crystal Palace who are 12th in the table. Sunday’s loss sees Everton a point ahead of Leeds (with this game in hand) and two clear of 18th placed Burnley from the same number of games. A win over Palace will see them in the Premier League next season. How will they react to losing to Brentford after twice leading in the home fixture? Crystal Palace are 12th but still in with a chance of a top ten finish. The weekend saw them draw 1-1 with Aston Villa and after this game, their final match is at home to Manchester United. Palace are unbeaten in their last four league games, last being beaten by Newcastle in late April. They have only lost two of their last nine away fixtures in the Premier League and only failed to score in two of them. Palace haven’t won on their last six league visits to Goodison Park, last winning in 2014. Everton know this might be their last Premier League home game for a while. Their fans know that too and will be a key 12th man. Go for Everton to get a win in what will be a tense fixture.
