Everton continue to drop points and begin the weekend ninth in the Premier League. They look to end a run of three home league games without a win when hosting third placed Chelsea. Everton are now four points adrift of the top four and seven behind league leaders Tottenham. After their great start to the season, Everton have only won one of their last seven league games, the only victory being away at Fulham. Home form has seen them earn just one point from the last three played at Goodison Park, with the last two both being lost. December is a big month for them with upcoming home league games against Arsenal and Manchester City, a trip to Leicester and an EFL Cup quarter final against Manchester United. They need to rediscover their form quickly as they are only four points above 15th placed Arsenal.

Chelsea won again at the weekend, beating Leeds United 3-1 at home. They start this weekend just two points behind league leaders Tottenham. The Blues are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League games, since their only loss of the season to Liverpool on September 20. Midweek saw a much changed Chelsea side draw 1-1 at home with Krasnodar in the Champions League. In all competitions, the last 17 games, their only defeat has been in an EFL Cup penalty shoot-out at Tottenham in late September. Their Premier League form is excellent with four of the last five bening won, the other being a draw at home to leaders Tottenham. On their travels, Chelsea are unbeaten in the Premier League this season. Three have been won, two drawn and they haven’t conceded in their last three on the road. An away win is the bet to make in this game.
