Everton vs Brighton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Steve Ashfield | in Premier League Predictions
Everton had won three successive league games before losing 2-1 at Manchester United last weekend. They are ninth in the table, seven points adrift of the top four. They host Brighton and Hove Albion who are 11th in the table and only a point behind Everton. The home side had beaten Fulham, Leicester City and Crystal Palace before last weekend's defeat. Home form has seen them win three, draw one and lose to West Ham. That defeat by the Hammers is their only one in the last eight home league games and in the past 19, the only other two defeats inflicted on home territory were by the two Manchester clubs. They have a good record against Brighton with only one defeat in the last ten and have never lost to them at home.
Brighton are up to 11th in the table and a healthy looking nine points above the bottom three, after a trio of 1-0 victories. They have beaten West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves to win three in a row and it was the victory at Newcastle that was perhaps the most important. That win over the side currently one from bottom in the table ended a run of 17 away league games without a victory. Brighton have only scored four goals in their last eight away matches but at present they just need one goal to get the win. Only twice in their last 12 away league games have they managed to keep a clean sheet and Everton have only failed to score once in their last 13 home league matches. They looked good for long times at Old Trafford and look capable of getting the home win here.

Our Everton vs Brighton Prediction
Everton could easily have got a draw at Old Trafford last weekend and before that had won three league games in a row. They are strong at home and have a good record against their opponents. Brighton have won three games in a row, but two were at home and the other away at Newcastle who haven't won a league match this season. Go for Everton to get the win in this match.
