One of the surprise packages of the Premier League this season, Brentford, will look to continue their excellent league run this weekend when they travel to Merseyside to lock horns with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon. The visitors produced another impressive result in their last match, winning an entertaining match 3-2 against Fulham, which saw them edge closer to the European Cup qualification places. Brentford is now in ninth place with 38 points in 24 matches, just four points behind Newcastle in sixth. With that win, Brentford has now gone an incredible 12 consecutive league matches without defeat, including six wins and six draws. They’ve proven to be a difficult side to overcome on the road as well, with a record of two wins, six draws, and just three losses in eleven away matches, and come into this one unbeaten in their last five (W2, D3). Brentford has been the better side in this fixture over the recent past, unbeaten in their last three matches against Everton, and they will be hoping to extend that record with another three points in this one.
