Everton are having a disappointing time of it at present. They got that trip to Wembley but added an FA Cup semi-final loss to the one they had in the Capital One Cup. It's a strange time at Goodison at present, they have a new investor whose cash will allow them to spend big during the summer. The question is though, who will be responsible of spending that cash? Roberto Martinez is under real pressure at present with his side 11th in the Premier League, six points off a top ten finish with a game in hand. Current league form is shaky though with no wins in their last seven games and just three points in those matches. The 4-0 defeat at Liverpool really upset Everton fans and there is little joy for them in home games at Goodison Park. They have just six points from their last ten home league games with the only win against Newcastle who are usually rubbish away from home until last week. Three defeats in the last four at home really have got the Everton fans calling for a change of management. Rumour has it if that does happen then Eddie Howe, boss of Bournemouth might take over (or a returning David Moyes). He's done a great job at Bournemouth (though failed when previously at Burnley) keeping them out of the relegation battle in their first season in the Premier League. They have lost four of their last five league games with the other game being the almost compulsory win over Aston Villa. They have 18 points from their last ten away league games with just one defeat in the last seven. Neither side have a great defence so the safest bet here is on both teams to score.
