Friday night sees a vital game down at the bottom of La Liga. Espanyol have only Elche below them in the table and host Cadizz who are two places and four points above them. The home side are three points from safety but even a win here won't see them escape the relegation zone. 17th placed Almeria (who Espanyol host in their final league game) are also ahead of them on head-to-head results. Espanyol haven't won in La Liga since late February, since then they've lost six successive league games. Three of their last four home league fixtures have been lost, the other a 2-1 win over Mallorca. That's just one of three victories at home in La Liga this season. Their last five home fixtures have all seen both teams score and that stat has come up in 10 of their last 11 games played in La Liga.

Cadiz know a win will take them seven points clear of the bottom three and nearly safe. A loss however will really drag them into the relegation battle. They have only won one of their last six league games but it's not been an easy fixture list. Their last game in La Liga saw them lose 2-0 at home to Real Madrid. They did win at Real Betis though and get a draw at Real Sociedad, both currently in the top five. Cadiz are unbeaten in their last three away games in La Liga but won just one out of six. Scoring goals away from home is a big problem for them with just nine this season in 14 La Liga games. Their away performances have shown some improvement and up against a leaky Espanyol defence, a double chance bet on them to win or draw this game is our tip.
