The Tunisian Super Cup is set to get underway on Sunday between the league winners ES Sahel and the Tunisian Cup winners Olympique Beja. The hosts ended the current regular season atop the standings in Group A, while the visitors finished fifth. ES Sahel came back brilliantly to overtake ES Tunis in the playoff round last season. They have carried that form into this term, finishing a point ahead of Tunis in the first half of the campaign. During that time, Sahel recorded seven wins, four draws and just a single loss. The only blemish on their record so far this season has been their CAF Champions League form, where they currently sit third in their group. The visitors lost their last match 1-0 against Club Africain, which extended their poor end-season record to seven matches without a win. During that time, they suffered five losses and managed just two draws. Beja are also winless in their last four away games and have failed to find the net in their last three. However, they are unbeaten against this opponent in their last two meetings which will give them some confidence heading into this one.
