England had an impressive win over Spain in their last game but by the time this friendly against the USA is completed, they may be out of the UEFA Nations League if the Spaniards can win in Croatia. The young English side put on a great display in Spain, though their opponents could have defended a lot better. Now England have to keep the momentum going in this home friendly and they have few injury worries for this match. They are on a three-game unbeaten run and should have enough in the tank to make it four. Who knows, Wayne Rooney might even get a goal for them when he comes on as a late substitute.

The USA didn't qualify for the 2018 World Cup and are having a poor second-half to the calendar year. They have only won one of their last six games with the other five resulting in three defeats and two draws. Their most recent match was a 1-1 draw with Peru, conceding an 86th minute equalizer.
