Just one point from their final two games home to Slovakia and away to Lithuania should be enough to win them the group unless Slovakia put a hatful of goals past Malta and beat Scotland. Gareth Southgate's men weren't totally impressive when beating Slovakia at home in their last game but that gave them three vital points. Slovenia are third in the group and a point behind Slovakia with their final game being home to Scotland. Defeat here will only end their qualification hopes if Slovakia win in Scotland. Away form has been their problem in this group with only one win and that was 1-0 in Malta with just three goals scored. That win in Malta is their only away victory in their last nine games and before that they beat mighty San Marino and have lost 12 of their last 19 away matches. England will be hoping that Harry Kane continues his great form and they can get the home win that takes them to Russia.
