This will be one of the first tournaments that the English will be considered genuine contenders as they finally have a star studded attack. They clearly showed this in qualifying, as they recorded 10 wins in as many games. With Cahill and Smalling in the back line, Barkley, Wilshere, Alli and Lallana in midfield and an incredible attack of Rooney, Kane, Vardy, Sturridge and Rashford, Russia will have to be very aware throughout the entire game.
