England play their first home game in this Nations League group and it's one they can't afford to lose. Last year's semi-finalists host Belgium who top the group by two points. A loss to the Belgians would see them go five points behind with three games to go and one of those being in Belgium. Gareth Southgate's team beat Wales 3-0 on Thursday but few of the players on show in that match are likely to play against Belgium, Yes, it was a promising performance with lots of young players but England have been down this route many times and still not gone on to win a trophy. Belgium had won 12 games in a row before their 1-1 home draw with the Ivory Coast on Thursday. Again, it was a reverse side so rather pointless really. This is the real deal and Belgium will know that avoiding defeat in their games against England should win the group. A bet on Belgium to win is the suggested wager.
