England -21 vs Switzerland -21 Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro U21

England begin their UEFA Under-21 Championships group with a match against Switzerland. The other countries in this group are Portugal and Croatia with the top two going into the knock-out stages being held in May. England had a strong qualifying campaign winning a six-team group by ten points. Of their ten qualifiers, nine were won with the other a surprising 3-3 draw away at bottom-of-the group Andorra. England scored 34 goals and only conceded nine. Eddie Nkiateh from Arsenal was their top scorer with 13 goals. more than Kosovo and Andorra managed in their ten qualifiers. They are without Manchester United's Mason Greenwood for these group matches but still have a strong squad with players such as Rhian Brewster, Callum-Hudson-Odoi, Emile Smith Rowe and Noni Madueke. They last won this title in 1984 and last reached the final 12 years ago. A better performance than 2019 is expected, they failed to make it out of their group that year.  Only one of their last 13 internationals have been lost.

Switzerland also had an impressive qualifying group. They earned 27 points from their ten games but still only finished second in the table. Nine of their games were won, the other a defeat to group winners France who finished top on goal difference. Switzerland reached the final of these championships in 2011 losing to Spain and this is their first time in the finals since then. They have scored at least twice in six of their last seven matches. Lots of goals scored but they have also conceded in five of the last seven. A bet on both teams to score is the suggested wager for this match.
