Empoli have an obligation to improve their fortunes as they entertain Lecce in Serie A this matchday. The hosts are just outside safety zone on goal difference and should be looking to come out of it with improved performances. The visitors also have an obligation to improve their away form as they are yet to win on the road this season. They have drawn four and lost two of their six away league matches, although they have scored in five of those and should continue that scoring form.
