Elche welcomes Granada to the Manuel Martínez Valero Stadium in this La Liga match. The hosts are in 17th position with 15 points while the visitors are in 12th position with 22 points. Elche have lost their last two matches and this has seen them drop into 17th position and they have the same points as the team in the relegation zone. They are only outside of the relegation zone due to a better goal difference. Elche did however win their last home match, a 3-1 win against Cadiz. This was their first home win in four matches and have not won two in a row since March. They have a mediocre record against Granada having failed to win any of the last eight matches with 6 draws and two losses. Granada have got their season back on track with two wins in their last two matches. Their last game was an excellent win against champions Atletico Madrid. They are almost exactly in mid table, fairly safe from relegation and seven points away from the European qualifying spots. Granada are hoping to make it three wins in a row for only the third time this century having achieved this feat in 2015 and 2019. In the last decade Granada have not lost away to Elche in any league match. Their only away defeat in this time came in the Copa Del Rey in 2018 when Elche won 2-1.
