Eintracht Frankfurt may be only 11th in the Bundesliga but they'll be confident of beating second placed RB Leipzig in the German Cup. This is the last sixteen of the cup and Frankfurt come into this game in the best form since the winter break. Frankfurt have seven points from their last three league games and that includes a 2-0 home victory over Leipzig thanks to two second half goals. They have had mixed form this season and another European campaign looks unlikely, unless winning this competition. Their home form is good though with five wins from ten league games this season.
RB Leipzig topped the Bundesliga going into the winter break but no longer. Their last two league games have produced a single point and now Bayern Munich have a point lead over them. The weekend saw them held to a 2-2 home draw by Borussia Monchengladbach. They trailed 2-0 in that game and needed an 89th minute equalizer to rescue a point. Only two of their last five games have been won and both were home victories. They have one win in their last four away games but will be hoping to make it through to the final of this competition for the second year in a row. With a big game against Bayern Munich at the weekend though, a weakened line-up is likely to be named by them. A bet on Frankfurt to win is well worth a bet.
