Seventh placed Eintracht Frankfurt aim to end the unbeaten Bundesliga record of Borussia Dortmund. Fresh from a win at Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund resume the Bundesliga season in fourth place. The Prussians are only two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen after the first eight games of the new season. They are one of only three sides still unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season, the others being Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. Dortmund have won their last three games and their most recent league fixture saw them beat Werder Bremen 1-0 at home thanks to a second-half goal from Brandt. That was their fifth successive win in the German Bundesliga. Away form is strong with three of the last four league fixtures being won and 11 goals scored. Both teams have scored in all but one of their last eight away league matches.

Eintracht Frankfurt will have had their confidence boosted on Thursday evening. The Eagles beat HJK 6-0 at home in the Europa Conference League. That made it nine goals scored in their last two games after winning 3-1 at Hoffenheim last weekend. That was a good win considering they went behind after just three minutes. Frankfurt begin the weekend in seventh, a place and two points behind the final European qualifying position. The Slipper Kickers would be in the top six but for drawing four of their eigth league games this season. Three of their last five matches have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. Both teams have scored in their last seven home league games against Dortmund and we go for that stat to come up again on Sunday.
