Egypt are the host nations for this 2019 African Cup of Nations and were runners-up in the last tournament held two years ago. They had a disappointing 2018 World Cup losing all three of their games, though Mo Salah didn't look 100% fit after his injury in the Champions League final. Since the World Cup they have had just one defeat in their last eight games. Their most recent win was a 3-1 victory over Guinea with Salah coming on as a sub with 29 minutes remaining.
Zimbabwe are ranked 109th in the world and that's 51 places below their opponents. This is the fourth time they have qualified for the finals of this tournament but they have never made it out of their group. Over 90 minutes they have failed to win any of their last four games and the last two have been drawn against Nigeria and Tanzania. Egypt are the tip to win this game leading at half and full time.

Mo Salah is fit and that's a key factor for the Egyptians as he's the only one of their players to have scored at least 10 international goals. They have only lost one of their last eight games and take on a Zimbabwe side ranked 51 places below them and not in winning form. Go for an Egypt win with them leading at both half and full time.
