Chelsea continue to be inconsistent this season and two games in the Champions League have only produced three points. A comfortable home win over Maccabi Tel Aviv was totally expected as they are by far the worst team in this group. Then Chelsea lost 2-1 away at Porto who are looking the likely winners of this group. League form in England for Chelsea is still nowhere near what they expect it to be. At least Costa is back though and he scored in their home win over struggling Aston Villa at the weekend.  Chelsea were unbeaten in Europe last season but know a loss here could put them in danger of missing out on the knock-out stages. Kiev have so far drawn at home to Porto and won in Israel. They are a strong side at home and proved that in their run to the Europa League quarter finals last season. No defeats and five wins, all by at least a two goal margin, means this won't be an easy game at all for Chelsea in freezing conditions. Kiev lost their unbeaten record in the Ukraine league losing at home to top of the table Shaktar, their first home defeat in the league since the 2013-14 season. Chelsea are experienced European competitors but with their current problems, especially in defence, I see Kiev earning at least a point from this game.
