Derby County are seventh in the table and only a place and a point away from the play-offs. Over the last eight league games Derby have the best record in the division and Saturday's draw at Fulham ended a run of seven straight league victories in which they'd kept six clean sheets. They led 1-0 and trailed 2-1 in that game so were probably happy to get a point and extend their unbeaten run. At home Derby have won their last six league games and not conceded a single goal. In all they have kept eight clean sheets at home, so you can see the problem Birmingham have here. The Blues are only a place and two points behind Derby so a win here will take them above their Midland rivals. They sacked their manager last week and Zola immediately took over. He began his reign as boss with a 2-1 home defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion conceding a last minute goal. That's three defeats in their last four league games and they have only won one of their last five away league games. Derby can boost their promotion hopes with a win here.
