Alanyaspor, having a three-point gap at the top, will view this game as a perfect chance to widen it as they resume league action right after beating giants Besiktas in their last Super Lig game. They have the joint best attack in the league (22 goals) and also the joint best defence in the league (seven goals conceded). Still, an improvement in defence will be needed here, with the team having no clean sheet in the last four matches, though they have scored in 10 of their last 11 matches. The league leaders have scored two or more goals in six of their last 10 matches and strikers Davidson Pereira and Anastasios Bakasetas have been crucial in this run. Davidson has scored six league goals so far and Anastasios has four goals. Bakaseta has scored three goals in the last three league matches and will be well rested for this game, having been introduced as a late sub in the cup win on Wednesday. Alanyaspor will also hope for some improvement on their away performance. They have three wins in the six away league matches they’ve played but head here with just two clean sheets and having lost the last two. They have however failed to score in just one of the six away matches and have also won the last two matches against Denizlispor.
