Dagenham & Redbridge are having a rough time of it in League Two this season. They sit 22nd in the table just a point above the dreaded drop zone. FA Cup glory would be handy and the finances they might gain from a Third Round tie with a Premier League side would be appreciated, but their main desire is just to ensure they're not a non-league side next season. So far Dagenham & Redbridge have only won two of their 20 league games and lost in midweek to Morecambe who they beat in the First round of this competition. That defeat ended a run of two games without defeat and they have four points from their last three games. Goals aren't that common in recent matches with the past four league games all having under 2.5 goals scored in them with Dagenham scoring just twice in those four matches. In all seven of their last eight games in all competitions have had less than 2.5 goals in them. Whitehawk are one of those sides that are making big strides up the pyramid. They currently play in the National League South and if they got promoted and Dagenham & Redbridge don't avoid relegation, the two sides will be in the same division next season. Whitehawk beat National League Lincoln City in the First Round and are fourth in their division with a good chance of making the play-offs. They have won just one of their last three away league games but have a reasonable chance of causing an upset here. I think a bet on under 2.5 goals looks the safest bet here.
