CSKA Moscow vs Roma Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

CSKA Moscow host Roma looking for the win that will take them into the top two in this group with just a couple of games remaining. Their first three games have produced a win, draw and defeat but two of their remaining three games are at home. They beat Real Madrid on home territory but their away form is poor with a draw at Viktoria Pizen and a 3-0 defeat at Roma. CSKA aren't in the best of form with only one win in their last six league and cup games and they are down to fifth in the Russian Premier League. In the Champions League they only have one win in their last four and at home but have won four of their last six at home including wins over Real Madrid and Benfica.  Goals aren't in great supply though with under 2.5 goals scored in 10 of their last 11 home games in this competition.

Roma are second in the group but only two points ahead of their opponents. An away draw wouldn't be considered a bad result but a win would all but take them into the last sixteen. They have won both of their home games in this group and done so by an aggregate score of 8-0. Their only away game ended in a 3-0 loss at Real Madrid. They are in good form at present with only one loss in their last eight games but have only won one of their last six away league and cup games. Champions League away form is a worry too with five straight defeats and one win in the last 17. Recent away defeats have been against some of the top sides in Europe including Real Madrid, Liverpool, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. This looks a bit easier but with question marks over Roma's away form the tip is to go for under 2.5 goals to be scored in this game.
