West Ham United have been blowing hot and cold all season but on a general, they have improved massively after a poor start to the campaign. They played to a 1 – 1 draw with Liverpool in their last match and if they will need any motivation for this derby game, that there should be enough. Four points separate the two sides with Crystal Palace placed lower, at 14th with 26 points while West Ham have 32 points, at 12th place. It is now four matches without a win for West Ham United and they will be hoping to end this at Selhurst Park but it will not be easy with their tendency of falling to smaller teams. As they head there, they will find a Palace side on a run of three unbeaten matches, with two clean sheets therein. West Ham have also lost each of the last three away games in the league and here they will hope to bring to an end that run. Though we can’t say Palace have been in superb form at home, with just three wins in their 12 home games in the league and they will be seeking a fourth win in 13 when they take on this West Ham side that has no goal in the last three away league matches. On the flip side, West Ham will be very confident heading to this game, knowing too well they have not lost to Palace in any of the last seven meetings, winning four. In 30 meetings in history, Palace have managed just seven wins while Palace have 13.
