Crystal Palace vs West Brom Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

West Brom finished 14th in the Premier League last season and Crystal Palace one place below them. Both flirted with getting dragged into the relegation battle and if the bottom four had shown a bit more fight, they probably would have ended up battling for their Premier League status. For Palace it was definitely a season of two halves. Early on they looked as if a bid for a Europa League place was on the cards, then it all went terribly wrong with a long run without a win. A league table for the last 30 games of the season has Palace in the bottom three and seven points from safety. Yet somehow they nearly won the FA Cup!  Not too much transfer activity so far but the signings of Townsend from Newcastle and Tompkins from West Ham are promising, a top striker is what they really need with just 15 goals from the last 15 league games and the chase for Christian Benteke continues. West Brom aren't much better really despite having Rondon, Berahino and Lambert. They were inconsistent for most of the season and earned just seven points from their last ten league games of the season. Only Aston Villa scored less league goals than them last season so with that and Palace's goal shy reputation, it's hardly a surprise that I'm going for under 2.5 goals to be scored here.
