Crystal Palace vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by | in FA Cup Predictions
A table based on the last ten Premier League games has these two sides both in the bottom three (Villa are bottom of course). Few FA Cup semi-finals have included such inconsistent teams as this pair.Their league form may be worrying the heck out of their fans but both did enough in the first half of the season to keep them out of relegation trouble, wait till next year for that. Their form in the FA Cup has been much better so we have Watford v Palace in the semi-final. Watford had a rare win over WBA last weekend but lost 3-1 at West Ham in midweek. Their top strikers Ighalo and Deeney haven't scored for over a month, a couple of goals at Wembley would be handy. Six goals in the last nine games isn't that impressive is it? Crystal Palace had to wait until April 9 to get their first and only league win of 2016, they've had more success in the FA Cup with wins over Southampton, Stoke and Spurs. Since their one win of this calendar year they have gone three games without a win. Their last eight goals have all been scored by different players, a new striker is definitely needed with all the money they've made from this Cup run. This is really difficult to predict because these are two sides that don't win that much. I go for under 2.5 goals to be scored in the absence of any in-form strikers.
