Palace and Watford are two teams whose seasons could still have a fair bit of excitement left in them. Get some good results and they can push for a place in Europe, lose a few and they could be dragged into a relegation battle.They're also both in the FA Cup Fifth Round so could yet make it to Wembley. With their inconsistent results of late, the most likely result is mid-table and get ready to build for next season. Palace will be disappointed at being 12th in the table at present and are only nine points above the bottom three but just seven off the top six. However, Palace have gone eight league games without a win and need to be getting some wins on the board. Following this game they have trips to WBA and Sunderland but then take on Liverpool, Manchester United, Leicester and West Ham so a crisis could yet lay ahead if they don't get their act together. Watford lost 1-0 at Spurs last weekend and it should have been a few more. They are 10th and six points off the top six and ten off relegation. They've only won one of their last eight league games and failed to score in the last two. This is an interesting game between two sides who aren't exactly setting the world alight at present. I go for under 2.5 goals as the best bet here.
