Crystal Palace start the weekend in 11th place but have only won one of their four league games so far. They host bottom of the table Stoke City who are making a terrible start to the season for the second year running. The two teams have played eight league games between them and managed to score just five goals. You can guess which way this preview is going can't you? Palace got their first league win of the season at Middlesbrough last weekend but before that it had been a pretty miserable start to the season with losses to West Brom (enough to depress anyone) and Spurs but did manage a draw with Bournemouth. At least Benteke started repaying his massive transfer fee with the opening goal against Middlesbrough last weekend. It's been total misery for Stoke so far this season and last week they lost 4-0 at home to Spurs. Just one point, only two goals scored and ten conceded but they are only two points away from safety as there's one heck of a lot of dodgy teams in the Premier League this season. The last three league games have all ended in defeat but they have been against Manchester City, Everton and Spurs so the fixture list fairy hasn't been at all kind to them. Both sides are struggling for goals so I go for under 2.5 to be scored in this match.
