Manchester City rediscovered winning formula in their last outing, at home to Nottingham Forest and they made it count, in a 3-0 win. They get to face another London side, looking to build on their first win in eight matches.
The sharpness shown in the midweek win has been lacking in most of their recent matches, especially in the Liverpool game, when they failed to score. This was a welcome outcome off the back of six defeats in their last seven matches.
They will still need to rise up on the road as Pep Guardiola’s men have five straight losses away from home. In those five matches, they conceded two or more and they have just two clean sheets in 10 away games.
