The Premier League resumes after its international break with Liverpool eight points clear at the top. They look to continue their unbeaten run with a win at 12th placed Crystal Palace. The home side are two points adrift of fifth place and seven above the relegation zone. Most of the season has seen them in the top eight but they come into this game having earned just one point from their last four league games. The computer that works out the fixture list must really have it in for them. Those four games have been against Manchester City, Arsenal, Leicester City and Chelsea and now they have to host the league leaders. Only in the game against Arsenal did they manage to score and get a point. They have conceded twice in each of those four matches. Home form has produced eight points from six games with two wins, two draws and two defeats. The two wins came against Aston Villa and Norwich City but the last two have both been lost 2-0, making it three times this season they have failed to score in a home league match.

Liverpool resume their season having won 11 and drawn one of their 12 league games. The last game before the international break saw them beat Manchester City 3-1 at home to strengthen their strangehold on the league table. Liverpool have won five of their six away league matches this season, the other being the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. They are unbeaten in their last 14 away league games since losing to Manchester City in the first week of 2019. Of those 14 games, ten have been won including nine of the last ten. Liverpool's attack should have a good time against Palace's defence and the tip here is for an away win.
