After that disastrous start to the season it looked as if Roy Hodgson was taking them to safety and perhaps even a top ten finish. However, recent months has seen their form dip again and they are only two points above the bottom three with just seven games to go. A home win here would open up a decent gap again between them and the relegation zone but it's hard to see them getting one over Liverpool. Palace won ther last league game away at Huddersfield but that ended a run of two points from seven league matches. Home form has dipped too with five points from their last six games at Selhurst Park with two defeats in their last couple of games and conceding six goals. Another defeat looks likely here.

Liverpool are third in the table two points behind Manchester United in second but having played a game more. This is the early kick-off on Saturday so a win will temporarily take Liverpool back into second place. Thankfully the international break hasn't seen any massive injury problems for them aside from Joe Gomez having to pull out of the England squad after being injured against the Netherlands. At least Mo Salah got home safely and he's in fantastic form at present having scored four against Watford and he has 13 league and cup goals this calendar year. Liverpool have only lost one of their last seven league games and the only concern here is if they decide to rest some players before the Champions League game against Manchester City. They have a strong squad though and with Palace as inconsistent as ever, Liverpool can get the three points.
