Liverpool travel to 14th placed Crystal Palace on Saturday and a win will take them to the top of the table. They begin the weekend just two points behind leaders Arsenal who play at Aston Villa later in the day. Wednesday saw the Reds win their tenth Premier League game of the season, winning 2-0 at bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United. That was their third away league victory of the season. Only at Tottenham have they lost but they'd drawn three successive league games before Wednesday's win. Current form is good though with the last two Premier League games being won. They are unbeaten in their last eight league fixtures since that loss to Tottenham. Not since 2017 have Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace and won 11 games in a row, though the last two have both ended level.

Crystal Palace are struggling for form at present. Wednesday saw them lose 2-0 at home to Bournemouth. Fans of the Eagles are getting rather restless after a run of just one point (at West Ham) in their last four league matches. Their last league win was a 2-0 win at Burnley in early November. Home form has only produced one Premier League victory this season, a 3-2 win over Wolves at the start of September. Palace have only earned two home points since then and come into this game attempting to avoid a fourth successive home league defeat. We don't believe they will and tip Liverpool to get the win.
