After spending ages waiting for their first Premier League home goals,  Palace have gone six home league games without defeat scoring twice in each of them. They have won three, drawn three and lost three and their results would improve even further if they can get some new defenders in the January transfer window. The weekend saw them draw 1-1 at Swansea City and they ended the weekend in 16th place, two points above the bottom three. That's a position they could only have dreamed of after losing their first seven league games without scoring a single goal. The following 12 games have produced 18 points with only two defeats with 12 points from their last six at home. Palace have conceded in their last nine home league matches and 12 of the last 13 and you have to fear for their fragile defence up against the likes of Lacazette, Ozil and Sanchez.  However, up the other end of the pitch, Palace have scored twice in each of their last six home league matches.  Arsenal did well to get a point against Liverpool last Friday but that’s another draw with three in the last four. Away form has been a bit of a struggle for the Gunners but they have gone three games on the road without defeat. They have scored in five of their last six away league games and they have a great record against Palace with their opponents having only beaten them twice since 1979. Go for an Arsenal away win. A bet on over 2.5 goals looks the one to go for.
